If the cream gets on good skin, will it become red also?
Hi Frances
I want to give you some information we have abot Carac cream from our web site.
This first link is a member post about using carac cream and it generated a lot of member responses.
And here is a post from our Dr. Kevin Berman about topical creams including carac cream to treat skin cancer.
Here is the official Carac site and they say: "Most patients using Carac® get skin reactions where the medicine is used. These reactions include redness, dryness, burning, pain, erosion (loss of the upper layer of skin), and swelling. Irritation at the application site may persist for two or more weeks after therapy is discontinued. Treated areas may be unsightly during and after therapy."
It is advisable to use your cream only as directed. I imagine that if you did get the cream on healthy skin that you would experience a similar reaction. This is a question you do want to ask your doctor.
I hope this helps some. Thank you for your question.
