Q: Help me determine if this is or isn't regular. ABCDE help.

It's always been a question in the back of my mind if this freckle or whatever it is, is normal ever since I took anatomy and physiology.  Looking at it myself, it seems normal to me.  But within a matter of a couple months, another freckle developed an inch away from it.  It's weird to me.  I don't know much about freckles or moles but I'm slowly getting new ones.  The new ones, though look normal and they're small.  This one is exactly the size of a pencil eraser.  I just need help knowing if it follows the ABCDE rule.  It's nothing freakishly crazy looking like the pictures I've seen but the outside is darker than the inside and it's not perfectly rounded.  I don't know if I'm just freaking myself out but reading about this stuff was making me nervous so just checking. :)

if that picture is what you are asking about i would get it checked by a dermatologist.  If it's not, still based on more than ne color present in the same freckle I would - get it checked.  A dermatologist needs to really examine it - up close - and I always say - if in doubt check it out.  You'll feel better knowing if it's "nothing" or something that needs a biopsy, diagnosis and treatment.
