this was written by a doctor on the medical certificate submitted by my employee who was diagnosed with Pulmonary TB last december 2007

I'm not familiar with that specific "classification system" but what you need to find out is-was the cultrue positive or negatvie backin 2007n - and if positive did he recieve the appropraite TB treatments AND THEN have a negative culture.  He or his doctor should be able to provide you with that info - he is obviously infectious if he was not treated with a positive culture of if he cannot prove a "negative culture" after treatment - you need to assume positive for TB till proven otherwise.
