Hi Mel

We are a health site so...we are going to tell your first of all...not to tan.  You are needlessly aging your skin and also increasing your chances of developing a deadly skin cancer.  Any tan is a sign of skin damage.  In addition, mineral oil is not good for your skin...it clogs your pores...and if you use it and sit in the sun your skin will fry like fried chicken.  You will have no protection from the sun's harmful rays.  Even the tanning salon folks do not recommend using mineral oil as they say it will give you a streaky tan or else will fade your tan.

I would not recommend using the oil to tan.  I would recommend staying out of the sun and protecting your skin.

Thank you for your question.
