I had a bad case of bbc on my nose 4 layers deep, they did that also . Its called a flap. i will take time to heal, mine is hardly noticable now, then i just had a squamos cell on my cheek 1 swipe and 1 inch scar & its taking a while to look right, i think it takes a good yrs for everything to look really good. plus i get fraxel laser once a month to reduce scarring, it comes with the procedure, no extra charg, but that improves the wond alot..take care, pat
