I have hyperpigmentation on my face and neck. I recently had a rash on my neck and when the rash healed, I noticed it left a hyperpigmented area. I would like to know if there are any effective home remedy treatments that would lighten these areas.

My first recommendation would be to ask your doctor about what can be done or better yet...a dermatologist.
But in the meantime we do have a great article on our Skin Care site called, "See Spot Go" where you can find some suggestions of over the counter products you may use. Be sure to check the directions on anything you buy and the risks of such products.
