Hi, Can gasoline cause blisters if it contacts your skin?like a chemical burn or red blistery rash?

My Dad just recovered from rectal cancer and went thru cemo and radiation treatments, its bee since last march that we found out he had it,and he went to cut his grass on the riding mower and assumed he spilled the gas ontp the mower seat,ok? the day after this he woke up with red rash and...
