How long does it take for your skin to clear after using Carac cream to treat AK.

I treated AK on my arms for 4 weeks.  It has been 2 weeks since I completed the treatment.  I now have splotches on both arms (more on left than right), although not scaly or scabbed any longer.  Will these splotches disappear in time and approximately how long before they do?
