Q: A spot the size of a small eraser on the inside of my outer ear.

It doesn't hurt, or bleed, it doesn't swell. Its flat and has a small hole in the middle of it, the border is not irregular. Its kind of blackish in color. I didn't know it was there, my sister seen it and thought it was a scab. But its not. I'm 47 y/o and have had sun exposure in my earlier years.

Thanks for your question.  The best thing to do is to get a referral to a dermatologist who can examine the spot and evaluate.

In the meantime, you can read about Skin Cancer Basics for more information.

Hope this helps and all the best, sue
