Q: The mole I had frozen off 2 days ago looks like a liquid filled ballooon. Is this normal?

I had a flat brown mole biopsied 12 days ago. It came back precancerous so I had to return to have the area frozen.  The doctor said it would look like a crater but would fill in over time.  Instead it looks like a liquid filled balloon, bulging under the band-aid. Is this normal healing process or do I need to go back to my doctor to have it looked at?  I noticed this swelling several hours after the procedure.  Any information will be greatly appreciated.

                                                                           Thank You,

                                                                           Mrs. Ring

if the doctor said to expect a crater and instead you seem to be getting an inflammatory type response - i'd simply call the office and describe it and see what they think.  They can judge if you need to come in to be checked for an infection or some other issue.
