I have literally dozens of squamos & basal cell skin cancers. Is this common?

I've had six Mohs surgeries already & complicatioans w/4 of them, infections, dermatitis type reactions & am scared to death to keep going back to the same surgeon. Would like to know how to stop being so fearful. It's all I think about! Also would like to know if there are others out there...
