I have "scratches" on my arms and face and neck.  I have no idea where they came from.  They appear to go away but then came back.  Very thin lines of scratches....about 1 to 2 inches long. Has anyone ever heard of this?  Should I see a dermatologist?

I have the same "scratches" on my back and upper hips.  They itch, my husband puts on hydrocortisone cream and they go away, only to return later.  I hope we both get an answer soon.

i once read in a book by Graham Hancock; "meeting with the supernatural" that these appear nightly, when asleep and dreaming. during this, he claims, your mind has a high sensitivity to get in touch with spirits, on other waves and in other dimensions that the mind brain operates in during daytime. these scratches are not at all bad signs. it means you are high sensitive to these spirits and have what it takes to handle natural herbs and practise or study the knowledge of shamanism.

if youre sceptical, - further research won't hurt.
