Q: I have a 55 year old healthy brother living in CA who just found out he has advanced melanoma

He, like many other Americans, has NO health insurance - his mole is 3.2 in depth and was diagnosed as melanoma - he just found out a couple days ago.  What options does one have with no insurance when you know you have to go through extensive surgery and treatment to extend your life....we don't even know where to turn to help him and live across the U.S....I'm sure there are others in his situation - does anyone have any advice we can give him....this is all so new - we are still in shock.

thank you.....worried sister
