I have been really worried . and could really use some advice, k well on Friday afternoon I had a Mole on my back between my shoulder blades and it was a pretty good size. About the width of a plastic tack , now I dont mean the "depth" of a little plastic tack . But the flat very top of one , well that was about the diameter the mole i had , was ? I have been told that if a mole accidently gets scratched off or something that its cancer causing? Please help...Thanks Jw

First of all please know that I am not a doctor.
Don't panic but it probably is a good idea for your doctor or dermatologist to check on this. Was there anything unusual about the mole? Was it assymetrical? Was the border irregular? Was it multi-colored? Was it larger than a pencil eraser? And did it change over time? Was it itchy or bleeding prior to it being accidentally scraped off?
Chances are that it was a normal mole but for your peace of mind why not schedule an appointment with your doctor to make sure.
