Q: I have a rash on both arms that have a stinging sensation. What could this be?

this rash only appeared on my left arm recently and today the other arm is also beginning to have a small rash that feels prickly like tiny little stings under the skin when I scratch them.  It is a very light rash and has just started.  I am very concerned because I have been donating blood plasma for the past 8 months and wanted to know if this may be related to donating too much plasma or if it might be a sign of cancer.  No new medications or new soaps, shampoos or lotions have been used.
