Most skin cancer experts will tell you that the use of sunscreen is essential to protecting your skin from the sun and preventing skin cancer.  This, in addition to seeking shade, and covering up exposed skin can greatly reduce your chances of getting skin cancer.  However, the controversy is about which sunscreens are the most effective and the most safe. And this is where some experts will disagree.
