I have had this awful smell in my nose for about 6 weeks now. I have had it before. but it has never lasted this long. If anyone can tell me how to get rid of the smell, It would be great. I have tried many things and nothing helps.

Why not have an ENT specialist check it out -since you could have even a bacterial infection causing the smell. Rule out all the serious possibilities.
