Q: What are the costs of Efudex, Carac and Aldara? Are there any generics available?
I have seen Efudex for $33.00 per 40g tube plus shipping on a canadian pharmacy website. You will need a Rx to fax to them.
I paid around $165 at Costco for the standard tube of Carac cream. One does not need to be a member to use the Costco pharmacy. Plus, I found a rebate coupon for $30!
Besides that, I am getting free tube from a prescription assistace program for people with low incomes. It's from sanofi-aventis. Forms must be filled out by the patient and the doctor. Proof of income, such as a tax return, must be attached, too. Jaui.
