Mole on face, dosent apper to look cancerous, but cancer runs in famliy. Rather worried?

my mum has a mole on her face, she says it appeard about 3 maybe 4 years ago. she has a few other moles but recently said this one seems different. she has had cervical cancer before on and off for the past few years and has used sunbeds from a young age. the mole dosent appear to be large, ragged edge or discoloured but im worried that it may be cancerous. do you think im overreacting? Or that she should go get it checked?
