Scientists Identify Leprosy Genes

According to new research published in the New England Journal of Medicine, scientists have identified seven genes associated with an increased risk of developing leprosy. Researchers say that though leprosy is no longer a common illness, their discovery could lead to better treatments for other chronic infectious diseases. Read full story >
