Oxygen Slows Skin Wrinkling in New Study of Mice

Japanese researchers working with mice have found that high levels of oxygen may slow the development of wrinkles by reducing the skin damage caused by ultraviolet B radiation. In a recent study, the scientists found that hairless mice placed in an oxygen chamber after exposure to this type of UV radiation developed fewer wrinkles and showed less skin damage than similar mice exposed to the radiation that were not put in an oxygen chamber.   Read full story >
