Botox Blog Part III: The Reality, and The FDA Review

As a dermatologist, it thrills me to see how happy Botox makes my patients, whether I'm treating them medically for excessive sweating or cosmetically for wrinkles. Excessive sweating is no laughing matter. To those whose personal and professional lives, and clothing, it ruins, Botox often ...

Dr. Sundarum may give some sound advice but as a practicing dermatologist she simply cannot be trusted. If you ever see her on tv or in the news do and you live in the washington d.c. area, do not be fooled by her misleading charm and knowledgeable advice. There are sooo many good dermatologists in the area that you can trust. Unfortunately, not only can you not trust her to give you the best care possible, but you may find that she has very very bad bedside manner. She is a mass marketing queen that truly only cares about herself and her success. Just read all of the negative reviews on the net from patients like me that have had horrible experiences with her and some of her staff(especially the particularly annoying dude that gives you the hard sell and also only cares about money and success). I don't think Dr. Sundarum and her henchman side kick will ever really be able to change their ways. That said, I will not be surprised to see her practice having serious problems staying in business in the future. I guess if she continues with her BS and marketing strategy she will always be able to bring in suckers like me. I just can't see how she would ever be able to get business from referrals and return patients.

There are plenty of risky medications out there that have side effects that are unpredictable and not necessarily dose-related. Take cholesterol lowering agents, anti-psychotics, pain medications, antibiotics and hormones. There are lots more serious reactions with those, even if still relatively uncommon, than with Botox. When the total number of millions of Botox procedures is considered, it's extremely safe. Even acetaminophen is more dangerous, when you think about it. The paranoia about something so safe seems like the same paranoia that causes people to link autism with vaccines. It just seems to be paranoia.

For many people perfuse underarm sweating can be embarrassing and take a toll on their social lives as well as their emotional well being. Botox Clinics Melbourne
started being used to reduce and cease underarm sweating in 2002 and has since become a popular way for celebrities to look camera ready on the red carpet.
