When I was pregnant with my first child I developed a Pregnancy Mask. I had dark brown hues all over my face. It was terrible and made me feel extremely self conscious. Slowly after I gave birth the pregnancy mask started to fade enough that I felt ok about myself. I was also so busy being a new Mom that I didn't care too much about how I was looking. Then I got pregnant with my second child 4 years later the Pregnancy Mask came back full force. This time the brown spots did not fade after giving birth. Once again I became very busy trying to raise two young children. I really could not stand the way I looked and hated looking in the mirror. Not only did I have baby weight to loose I also has brown spots all over my face. I knew how to loose the baby weight and began eating right and exercising. I ended up loosing the baby weight and more. I was thrilled with my weight. Suddenly I could go shopping and by virtually any outfit that I liked. It was a great feeling. I still did not like my face!! In fact I hated my face it made me really sad. So I decided that I would try to find a way to fix it. I made myself an appointment at a Dermatologist. I thought surly they would know what I needed to do. Once there I was diagnosed with having a very severe case of Melasma.  Next I was told that there was not much that I could do about it. I was told about a product line called Obashi that was VERY expensive and resulted in my face being very red and flaky for awhile (months). I did not have the money nor did I want to walk around looking even worse than I did. I walked out of there feeling very discouraged. Some time went by and I talked to a friend of mine who also had a pretty severe case of Melasma. She told me of a chemical peel that she was going to be doing through a plastic surgeons office. Once I saw her results I thought I had found my answer!!! I saved my money (less than the Obashi) and made an appointment. You simply walk in have some chemical solution rubbed all over your face and walk out. Over the next seven days the skins on your face starts to peel away. I confined myself for 7 days and patiently waited for my new skin to be unveiled. Seven days later sure enough I was a completely different person. I had flawless skin!!! I was so happy and so confident!!!

Unfortunately as time passed it all came back in less than a year! Suddenly I started thinking that I was going to have to receive a peel every year if I wanted clear skin. It was either that or just deal with it and live with the condition.

Then my Mom called me and told me that her sister had the perfect Job opportunity for me. She said that the creators of Proactive have developed a new skin care line that is taking control of sun damage.  The rest is really history!! I actually found a job that I'm passionate about and my skin problem has been resolved. Now I just want to help others that may be experiencing the same agony. You too can become free of damaged skin and if interested become a consultant as well. I even have before and after pictures that I documented if you are interested. Visit me J
