I have what looks like dark spots or paches on my face, they almost look like shadows from an angle. I noticed them after I had my second son.  What are they and how can I get rid of them. Is microdermabrasion the answer?

I believe it is melasma, many pregnant women get it.  Rodan and fields, who had the number one selling products at Nordstroms and macy's before they decided to sell them through consultants for a more personal experience, has a product called Reverse, which heals the melasma and cleans your skin from the inside out, giving you heathy, beautiful skin.  It comes with a 60 day regimen and has a 100% money back guarantee, so it is risk free.  I use their unblemish for acne, and I am acne free for the first time since my teens,  I really believe and trust in their products.  If you want more information on their products you can email me or go to www.rodanandfields.com/jallan

Thank you for your response, I was wondering if Microdermabrasion or a Chemical peel might be a faster/better solution.  Does anyone have any experience in treating Melasma with these two techniques???

I have Melasma. I have microdermabrasion as well as a Chemical peel. The Chemical peel did work but then it came back in full force almost a year later. Laser is  very expensive. I'm going to try the Reverse with Rodan and Fields. If the product helps me I will also become a consultant. Good luck.
