I have paches of dark shadows on my cheeks that i noticed after the birth of my second son, what is

I have what looks like dark spots or paches on my face, they almost look like shadows from an angle. I noticed them after I had my second son. What are they and how can I get rid of them. Is microdermabrasion the answer?
