Q: is having red spots on the skin a sign of sun poisoning?

Hello Norlis

 

Just this symptom alone doesn't necessarily mean you have sun poisoning.  But if you have concerns a doctor could take a look at these spots to give you a diagnosis.  Did you get sunburned?

 

Here is an article we have about sun poisoning symptoms.  In addition to sunburned skin with itching, peeling, and blistering the person with sun poisoning may also experience flu-like symptoms of nausea, dizziness, chills, fever, and dehydration. 

 

I hope this helps some.  If you have any reason to think you may have sun poisoning you may want to check with your doctor.
