my son has a rash on his groin and the top of his leg it is very red and itches
rash starts at bottom of stomach and goes down to the top of his leg .what could this be

If that rash hasn't gone away and still looks just as bad if not worse and is spreading you might want to take him to the Dr. it might be scabies.

Does your son wear a jock for sports? Be sure that's being washed often. There are jock itch medications of course. If that could be the cause, maybe, go in that direction. gl
