Try Lac-Hydrin 12%.  There is a generic form called Amlactin and Laclotion.  In some states you need a prescription.  Look for lotions containing lactic acid, gycolic acid,  and urea.  A milder form Lac-Hydrin 5% is available on drug store shelves.  It costa about $20.00, but is worth it.  It stinks, however!   Another cream called Carmol 20 is pure Urea.  However, this one didn't help me.   Kinerase was recommended for my face - OUCH - it costs $136.00
