I have the same thing and dermatologist says inherited form of dermatitis. no cure, keep hands out of hot water,soaps,chemicals.. he gave me creams that dont really help, so just use lots of mild lotions and wash dishes with cold water..Oh and gloves make it worse..and the older I get more it occures.. i feel your pain
