Q: can i spread bacterial keratitis from one eye to another even if i am not wearing my contacts?

This is definitely a question you want to ask your doctor. 

 

In the meantime here is some information about bacterial keratitis from The American Academy of Opthamology.  It seems that good contact lens hygeine is a preventive measure.
