Please let me know the best ways to avoid getting pimples. Also, are there any ways to make a pimple dry out faster without drying out skin? What are the ways to get rid of blackheads? I have suffered from pimples and black heads for about two years now. I am desperate for a solution. Please help!!!

Well I can empathize with you. I have suffered from acne since I was a teen and I still do and I am in my forties.
Why don't we start out by giving you the link to our informational page on acne.
And then please read my article, "Five Myths about Acne."
I waited until I was 37 to finally see a dermatologist. It was only then that I got some real help for my acne. All the over the counter stuff did not help. My doc has me using Rosula wash, Tazorac cream, and Duac gel. But please know everyone is different and so your doctor may prescribe other things based upon your skin needs.
Another thing which can help is the use of antibiotics or birth control pills (do you find that your acne is worse right before your period?)
Other things which can help is to not touch or pick at your face. Make sure that your make up is not contributing to your acne.
My skin is now in the best shape it has ever been in...sometimes it takes seeing a dermatologist to effectively treat acne.
