Q: Inflammation on face with brown spots on pores

Hi,I have a redness inflammation-like face for almost one year now. At the very beginning, it looks like a minor sunburn on the cheeks. Then it developed into chin and nose area. On these areas, the pore is darker than other normal pores. The pores looks brown, needle-like. It is not itchy or hurting.

I would really like to know what is it. Someone believes it is Keratosis Follicularis, but I don't have anything wrong with the skin on my body.

I have been using Avene and other skin friendly brands since my problem, but it did not change anything. I believe it is not allergy.

I tried the DermAid Soft 1% Cream suggested by my doctor, but it did not work either. She knew little about skin problem,so I can't find help elsewhere.

Thank you.

It may be rosacea redding of the face.try oatmeal.just like you would make oatmeal to eat but without the sugar.make it kind of thick that can be used like a mask.rub it on your face and let it sit on there.until you get ready to wash it off.And see how that works. And you know another secret you can use vagisil for pimples. Please stop using these brands especially if they are off brand because all things are made with chemicals. We are like lab rats you ever thought about that.if one thing doesnt work we are always trying others.dont waste your money any more.and a doctor wont give you arent going to give you a cure because they have to lie to get paid.there are home remedies.stop the use of lotions on your face also because its just irritating.and buy oatmeal soap and lotion it has no chemicals.
