sun burn with itching please help

my 15 year old went swimming sunday now its wednesday. he took a shower because his sunburn was itching a little. after shower the itching got worse and he coudnt scratch because of the sun burn and one spot would itch then a different one would it was bad now he is very cold and still has some...
