Q: I just had my skin tags cauterized (by an esthetician) all over my face, neck and chest. Can I use zinc oxide to help with the stinging/itchng?

It had been 4 days and she told me to just use 1% hydrocortisone cream once a day.

Hi there

I would listen to your doctor or else ask if you can use zinc oxide. Is there a reason why you would prefer using this instead of hydrocortisone cream?

I am sorry you are still in pain and are itching. Maybe you should call your doctor and ask if this is normal for the healing process.
