Q: Red Dots that have opened bleeding, and scab over.

My Mother has a history of Diabetes, and stroke. For the last 5 weeks she has had little red spots appear on her legs and then spread all over her body, mainly arms, back, and are traveling slightly to her face and genetailia area. The ones on her legs have started to seep, blood and have gone as far as under her toe nails. Doctors have initially given her eythromicine a one week course. Been to hospital and they sent her home. She complains it is itchy and painful. It is causing her a lot of discomfort and we have no idea what it could be, the docs seem to not know. She has been asked to go for a blood test as they believe she needs steroid based mdication. Any help would be amazing thank you
