I've got very similar case on my legs, and I think it might be spreading.
We did switch to Gain Laundry detergent, and I used B&B lotion right after shaving my legs, which was a day or two before the bumps arose. That was the first time I hadn't used Burt's Bees. They don't itch all the time, but when they do, it's like an erruption.
Yes, hot hot showers help the itching. I think that for most of us, it seems to be a sort of chain reaction, which is why the 'doctors' can't pin it down.
I would get rid of everything (everything) unnatural. That includes soaps (dove, dial, etc), scrubs, laundry detergent, foods, lotions, washes, sunscreens, etc. >The labels should say 100% Natural. These products are hard to find in supermarkets, so check out your local co-ops or Wholefoods for natural products.
Because if it's an allergic reaction (which I think might have been the 'catalyst' to many of these cases), then it's most likely to a chemical substance. Probably one that Gain uses, and other people have stumbled across. Best solution is to get rid of all chemical substances.
I'm going to keep using all natural lotion, as well as olive oil and aloe vera. I wouldn't use anything acidic, even if it is natural (apple cidar vinegar, etc), simply because the area is extra sensitive. And NO SHAVING! You'll tear your bumps wide open. Also, take a shower right after exercising or sweating to decrease chances of spreading.
I'm on an elimination diet. I eat consistently natural/organic, but cutting dairies seems to help. I'm about to cut all sugars.
I haven't been to the doctor yet, but I am going in a few days. I'll keep you updated on possible cures/remedies for this. But right now, I think the best thing for everyone is to limit sun exposure and to stay away from the bath. If it is contagious via contact, you don't want to stay in the contaminated water. And wash clothes/sheets regularly (in all natural detergent :)
Also, bleach kills everything, both good and bad, so I don't recommend it for sensitive skin. It will most likely cause further irritation and inflammation in the area. Aveeno has great products for anti-itch ointments.
If you can't stand not itching your skin, at least cover your hands in socks or gloves :D
Again, I will let everyone know the best cures (because I will not stop trying until they dissappear completely.)

I, too, am suffering from this. It feels like poison ivy but the bumps are much too small. It started on the back of my leg behind my right knee. Now it is all over the backs of my legs in patches and the lower part of my buttocks. I have started using new products and would like to compare to see if maybe these are common between us.
Gain laundry detergent (had a coupon)
Nivea snsitive shaving gel
Nivea touch of sparkle body wash
Softsoap nutri serums body wash
Since this is a new thread I am wondering if it is a new product introduced to the market causing this or a new condition that is contageous and spreading. I have no insurance and cannot afford a doctor visit just for them to tell me thy have no idea and to use something over the counter. Let's figure this out together.
