When my son was 5, he was diagnosed with eczema. He would get really dark and dry itchy spots in his inner thighs. He would scratch them so much that they would turn into sores. His pediatrician gave me a ton of samples of eucerin. It helped a little but not enough for me to pay for it, so I turned to good old vaseline. I began putting it on him 3-4 times a day, before he got dressed, when he returned from school, and when he got out the tub at night. If it was the weekend, I would squeeze in another time or two. Nevertheless, after about two weeks, we didn't need it as much. Now I only apply it at night when he gets out the tub, and before he gets dressed in the morning. Hope this helps. By the way, this way was so much more affordable.
