Hi there

Bedbugs leave signs that they are there.  The best evidence is to actually find a bedbug but they can be hard to detect.  If you look along your box spring frame and see dark black stains or smears...this could be bedbug fecal matter.  If you are waking up with bites you may suspect some sort of insect...and it could be bedbugs.  Sometimes canines are used to detect whether there is an infestation of bedbugs.  A professional pest inspector would be able to tell you if you have bedbugs or not.

Here is a great website all about bedbugs where you can find the information you need on this topic.   Now I am feeling itchy!

If you suspect you have bedbugs you will want to contact a pest control specialist.

Thank you for your question.
