I would assume within a month of starting the medication you would see some benefit - though if you have very cystic acne it could take a bit longer.  that being said, make sure if you have any signs of depression - to notify your doctor.

Hi Paige,

 

You should give the medication about 4-6 weeks to work. This allows for the current skin cells (with acne) to die off and be replaced with new cells. If you don't see improvement within six weeks, you should contact your doctor.
