I have bright red spots that look like spider bites.

I have about a dozen spots mostly on my back, they look like spider bites and they itch. There are 3 or 4 together.   They fade and I get a couple more.  This has been going on for a couple of weeks.  My husband doesn't get these bites if that's what is is.

That many red spots sounds like tinea ( afungus), or bed bugs (though I would think both of you would get them) or misquitoe bites (some people attract them more than others).  why not get a skin check up and get a definitive answer and treatment???

It sounds like a skin condition I experienced a few months ago.  My dermatologist recommended Clindomysin lotion applied once or twice, Mometesone cream at night and a prescription drug Minocyclin.  Worked like a charm.

Did these spots appear only after you itched them? i have itchy spots & after i scratch them there appears to be bumps that almost look like i was bit by a misquito a couple times in that spot. This itch is ALL OVER my body. & How long did you get this?
