Q: My wife has two red bumps, one on left hip, the other on the right hip along waist line. They both itch and are swollen. The one on the left hip is elongated. Thanks, Caring husband

Hello Caring Husband

Please know that I am not a doctor either. I am wondering about the fact that the two bumps are in the same place...just on either side of the waist line. Could her clothing have produced any friction in those places and maybe caused a heat rash reaction?

It really could be anything from an allergic reaction to insect bites. If you want to figure out what it is you will have to have her seen by a doctor or dermatologist.
