I am 29 and of Indian origin. My skin is a little dry and sensitive. I suffer some allergies to pollen, dust and cats. I am living in a tropical country and my skin used to be very good back in the UK. Though has been having problems with spots since moving to this hot country. I had my face threaded to remove facial hair 15 hours ago and am now suffering from painful swelling all over my skin. There are many visible small pus heads forming and I need some good advice on how to reduce the pain, swelling and pimples - also any scars that might follow!

What kind of hair removal? Wax treatment, chemical, electrolysis, laser? Did they give you special instructions about what not to do afterward, i.e. not to wash your face for so many hours or use lotion, etc. ? If chemical or laser it sounds like burn or allergic reaction. If that is the case you could take Benadryl for a reaction and use neosporin ointment to relieve any burning sensation or scarring. I would try to cleanse my face with some sort of gentle cleanser such as original PhisoDerm liquid soap which most pharmacies carry. Just be sure it is the original without any scent, dyes, aloe, etc. I hope this helps!
