Q: I have a few random dark spots on my arms that I want to get rid of?

On my right arm there is just one but it is the darkest one, and on my left arm I have 3/4, I had them checked by my GP, in case it was anything serious, who gave me steroid cream (hydrocortisone 1% cream) and he said it should lighten the spots and make them less noticeable but that was more than 6 months ago and I haven't noticed any differences, does anyone have any ideas what I can do to get rid of them? people always make remarks about them so I feel quite self conscious about them and I don't really know why they are there. I have brown (asian) skin, if that makes any difference? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hello there

Did you doctor say that these were sun spots by chance?

If they are sun spots we have an excellent article written by Health and Beauty expert, Sue Chung, about how to get rid of these spots.

I hope this helps some...lots of good advice in that article.

Thank you for your question.
