Translucent, blister-like lesions on the face - how to treat? Is it Candida?

I have had these translucent, blister-like lesions on my face for several months now.  They are very flat, approx. 1/16 of an inch in diameter, and some take a long time to dry up even though they are very small.  They are all over my forehead and cheeks.  The initial outbreak was only along my upper cheeks and took almost 3 months to improve.  Then several weeks later after a meal laden with soft drinks and pudding (i.e. sugar), the blisters came back with a vengeance and became worse than before.  These blisters are only on my face and they do not itch or ooze.  It is NOT acne, contact dermatitis, rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis.  Based on some research, I've come to the conclusion it is related to a candida (yeast) overgrowth. I used an anti-fungal cream on my face, which produced even more blisters (AF use may have made the yeast more aggressive).  Now I'm eating a sugar and yeast-free diet and taking probiotic supplements.  Physically I feel great but the blisters/"rash" have not cleared up in a week.

Has anyone else experienced these types of blisters/"rash", what causes them, how do you treat them, how long until they clear?

It could also be sebborheic dermatitis which could require steroid creams so rahter than try and self-diagnose, I'd get a reputable dermatologist to scrutinize the lesions and give you a definitive diagnosis.  Skin conditions can differ dramatically in treatment, and the treatment for one can excacerbate a different condition.  You also don't want to end up with scarring because of the wrong diagnosis and treatment so gwet a medical evaluation to be definitive.

I feel your frustration!!! I myself, using deductive reasoning have also deduced that these small blisters that I have had mostly on my face, but also on fingers and toes (for about a year or more now) are probably from candida. Yeah, I notice they come back the more sugar I eat and I didn't used to be like this. I have had digestive problems for a  couple of years, getting worse, and after learning about candida, leaky gut, etc. I am pretty sure that I have candida overgrowth in my gut. I have tried different probiotics, but I couldn't take the severe pain I got in my gut from taking them! (I don't know why, even Activia makes me feel like someone is stabbing me in the abdoment!) I am going to buy some Oreganol P73 and start taking it, because several years ago, I remember hearing on the radio a man that invented? this product was talking to people calling in, and one guy described blisters like ours and he told him he had an internal fungus toxifying his whole body, etc. (i can't remember if he said 'candida', but)  this stuff is supposed to help with many, many conditions-look it up-it's not cheap, but I am at my witts end, you know you can't talk to regular doctors about this kind of thing, alot are ignorant about alot of these types of things. I told a doctor I feared I had a malabsorption problem, and she shook her head telling me people don't gain weight, but lose weight with that-I told her sometimes you can gain weight-she wouldn't listen...

I hope this helps. I read about people having to be on raw vegetables, no sugar, yeast, mushrooms for like six months, and such, and I thought, there is no way I could do that!!!! I hope this helps  yourself and others God Bless:)

i think i had exactly the same thing and yes it is related to yeast,  after 6 weeks of acne medication that i already knew wasnt going to work because it wasnt acne, my dactoe finally started me on ketoconozole and within like 3 days i could tell a difference.  She said you cant cure it completley becausr yeast lives naturally on the skin, but i no longer have an acne-like rash all over my face, neck and back.  I now use a dandruff shampoo, topical ketoconzole and a Z and P bar soap.
