It could also be sebborheic dermatitis which could require steroid creams so rahter than try and self-diagnose, I'd get a reputable dermatologist to scrutinize the lesions and give you a definitive diagnosis.  Skin conditions can differ dramatically in treatment, and the treatment for one can excacerbate a different condition.  You also don't want to end up with scarring because of the wrong diagnosis and treatment so gwet a medical evaluation to be definitive.
