Q: I have sun poisoning as I do every year; however, this time I have severe swelling of the feet.

I have sun poisoning as I do every year after my first exposure to the sun while landscaping and cleaning up after winter.  This time I have a little sunburn to the top of both feet.  My ankles are now swelling over my shoes, turned very red, without sun exposure to that area, and is quite painful.  This is not pitting edema.  The swelling will eventually go up to my knees until I am unable to bend them, my toes, or ankles.  Is this part of sun poisoning, or should I be concerned?
