can sun poisoning cause swelling between the eyes?

I recently got a sunburn on my head and my co-workers believe it's sun poisoning. Now the area between my eyes is starting to swell and my co-workers believe its related. I have no allergies that I am aware of. So, can sun poisoning cause swelling between the eyes?
