Q: raised icthy patches on back of hands only for the last three years thats worsens with sun exposure

It worsens when body overheats or if hands are exposed to heat, or sunlight especially. It involves extreme itching and I have had this for the the last three yrs or more. It is worse during the warmer months. But this year it is moving to the front of the right hand and a light rash up both forearms. I have used benedryl cream and pills, hydrocortisone creams, many different lotions such as eurcin cream but nothing seems to help. I am not taking any sensitive medications to sunlight.

Hi,

I have this EXACT problem, I often wonder if it is from my cat, do you have a cat? The only thing that has helped over the years ( it comes back) has been prescription WESTCORT cream-you can use generic but I do not know that name. This does drive you CRAZY!!!
