What's this patchy, dry, red skin around my nose? I've had it for a few months - no local dermatologists to go to, just a small clinic that I'm afraid wouldn't diagnose it correctly. I've tried acne treatments, but they just make it worse - perhaps because they tend to dry the skin? It burns sometimes - not sure of exactly when/why it does, but it does occasionally.

ur skin is probaly not getting enough hydration. do u take hot showers or baths? that mite be the problem. i dont think it any kind of acne. trust me i would know. just try to put some lotions on ur skin to give u some hydration.

i have same problem. its embaressing people tease and call me rudolph lol but i didnt care at first but now iits been months. tried creams and all that crap. help!
