I had surgery on my feet.

I had surgery on my feet 15 days ago.  The stitiches have been removed.  Now the skin around the incision is white on one foot.  I think it was damp from sweat.  I applied neosporin to the incision and will change the bandage.  Did I do the right thing?  Is there anything else I should do?
